About Amina...

Amina Knowlan, M.S., currently works as a trainer, consultant and somatic-spiritual life coach. She lives in Boulder, Colorado with her wonderful adult daughter and son.

In the traditions of "deep ecology" and Elizabeth Cogburn's Ceremonials work, Amina developed Fully Embodied Woman (formerly Full Bodied Woman) and since the 1980s has provided women an opportunity to celebrate living in a woman's body on earth. She has offered this work across the United States for over 20 years.

Amina enjoys incorporating ritual, dance, voice art, body-mind awareness, and movement into her work. She was a trainer for the Hakomi Institute for Body-centered Psychotherapy for 12 years and an owner-practitioner in Wellspring, a holistic medical clinic for 15 years. She has been leading groups since 1979 and founded Matrix Leadership Training in 1992. She offers Matrix training, facilitation, and process consultation for organizations and groups of individauls.
